My first solar eclipse photograph, taken with a Kodak Instamatic camera. 11 September 1969 20:08 UT. With a number 13 welder's glass held in front of the camera, hence the green color. The colored strip on the left is due to the camera back opening when the camera was dropped. Several frames of the film were exposed. This was the only eclipse image that survived. |
